Pasta Bolognese

  1. Cook the pasta as directed on the box. Drain & set aside.
  2. Brown the ground beef in its own fat, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.
  3. Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic and fry for a few minutes. Reduce heat, then add the tomato sauce and allow to heat through for a few minutes. Add some ground pepper to taste.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well. Add Parmesan and some red pepper flakes to taste and mix. Serve with more Parmesan.
  5. For variety, you can also make this completely vegetarian. Just omit the meat and fry the vegetables in a little oil.
